Refund and Exchange Policy
This Refund and Exchange Policy sets out the conditions under which You may return or exchange a product purchased at a distance from the Colorista.md online store. The store is owned by STIALIT GE LLC (IDNO: 1013600015368), with its registered office at MD-2071, mun. Chișinău, sec. Buiucani, str. Balcani șos. 6, of. 70. Your rights as a consumer in a distance purchase are governed by Law No. 105/2003 on consumer protection and by the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova (Law No. 1107/2002), articles 1013-1065.
1. Consumer rights in a distance purchase
When You buy a product through the website, by telephone or by any other distance means, You conclude a distance contract. The legislation of the Republic of Moldova grants You a number of safeguards, including the right to withdraw from the contract without stating reasons, as well as the right to return a defective product. The conditions and the procedure for exercising these rights are set out below.
2. Right of withdrawal (revocation)
You are entitled to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance within 14 calendar days of receiving the product, without stating any reasons and without incurring penalties. The period is calculated from the day on which You, or a person designated by You, took possession of the product.
If the seller did not duly inform You of the right of withdrawal, the period for withdrawing from the contract is extended to 12 months from the day You received the product, in accordance with the Civil Code of Moldova.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, send us, before the said period expires, an unequivocal statement of Your decision to withdraw from the contract. The ways to contact us are set out in section 4.
3. Conditions for returning a product
For a product to be accepted for return under the right of withdrawal, it must meet the following conditions:
- the marketable (proper) appearance is preserved;
- the original packaging is preserved;
- completeness is preserved, including labels, accessories and accompanying documents;
- the product has not been used and shows no signs of use.
You are responsible only for any diminished value of the product resulting from handling it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
4. How to arrange a return
To arrange a return, please contact us by one of the following means:

In Your request, please state:
- the order number;
- the name of the product to be returned;
- the reason for the return (for a return under the right of withdrawal, stating a reason is not mandatory);
- the bank details or other information for refunding the amount paid.
Once we receive Your request, we will agree with You on the further procedure for handing over the product.
5. Cost of returning the product
If You were duly informed that You must bear the cost of return, the direct cost of dispatch (delivery) of the returned product is borne by You. Other terms may be agreed separately when the return is arranged.
6. Refund time frame and method
We refund the amount You paid within 14 calendar days of receiving Your notice of withdrawal from the contract. The refund is made using the same payment method You used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed with You and provided this does not result in additional costs for You.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product, or until You have supplied evidence of having sent it back, whichever occurs first.
7. Products that cannot be returned
In accordance with the Civil Code of Moldova (article 1065), the right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to the following products:
- products made to an individual order or clearly personalized. This includes paint tinted or mixed to order according to the shade You selected, since such a product is made individually and cannot be resold;
- sealed products which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return once the packaging has been opened, where it was opened after delivery.
For opened sealed products, each situation is assessed individually. If You have any doubts, please contact us using the details in section 4, and we will assess the possibility of a return in Your particular case.
8. Return of defective products
If You discover a manufacturing defect in a product, Your rights are protected separately from the right of withdrawal, under Law No. 105/2003 and the Civil Code of Moldova.
Where a defect is confirmed, You are entitled to request, by agreement with us, the free remedying of the defects, replacement of the product with a similar one of proper quality, or a refund of the amount paid. To do so, contact us using the details in section 4 and describe the defect found; where necessary, we will agree on the procedure for checking the quality of the product.

This Policy and the relationship between You and STIALIT GE LLC are governed by the legislation of the Republic of Moldova. Disputes are subject to resolution by the courts of the Republic of Moldova.
