The No. 50 series - cool and neutral shades. Works well in interiors with good natural light. In dark rooms, a cool tone can create a sense of dampness.
Use: acrylic and latex interior paints. Add to white base, control saturation with a sample.
Blending with warm tints: a small amount of warm (series No. 40) added to a cool (series No. 50) gives neutral grey without blue cast. A professional technique for grey tones.
For bright rooms: cool shades of the No. 50 series make spaces feel visually larger. Walls recede, ceiling seems higher.
