Working with dark red pigments: red pigments are chemically complex. They interact more actively with white base than others. In a dark base (not white) - behaviour is different. Always test first.
Storing leftover tinted paint: write it down - paint name, volume, grams of tint. Label the can. In a year you won't remember the ratios without notes - and you'll have to start from scratch.
