Plastering beacon W6 2.5 m - metal guide profile for applying plaster evenly. The 2.5 m length fits standard ceiling heights in Moldovan homes. Fixed vertically to the wall with gypsum or filler, then used as a guide for a plastering rule.

W6 is the standard profile height of 6 mm. Thinner beacon means less metal embedded in the plaster layer - for most jobs W6 is the right call. After the plaster sets, beacons can be pulled out and the strips filled, or left in - depends on the project spec.

Flat walls without beacons are a coincidence. With beacons - it's a system. Essential when plastering with gypsum mixes like Rotband and with cement-based compounds.
