Whether a facade holds depends a lot on the paint. Aura Fasad is a water-based acrylic exterior paint for concrete, render and brick.
Acrylic means UV resistance without rapid yellowing, plus a degree of flexibility against micro-cracks. On a Chisinau wall that goes through 30-40 freeze-thaw cycles each winter, that matters. Fasad is designed for properly prepared surfaces - primed and free of moisture in the substrate.
The 3.5 kg pack is practical for small jobs: a balcony section, patching after repairs, spot coverage. Not the most economical per square metre, but you won't waste material opening a large bucket for a small area.
Apply with a roller or brush in two coats. The first coat acts as a sealer, the second gives full coverage. Aura is made by Eskaro Group in Estonia.
