Drywall screw for wood framing 3.5x35 mm, 200 pcs. Rigips is the German manufacturer of plasterboard systems. Screws in this series are for fixing plasterboard sheets to timber framing.
3.5 mm diameter, 35 mm length. Phosphate coating resists rust in dry conditions and improves adhesion to filler. Sharp point allows driving without pre-drilling into softwood and OSB.
Fixing spacing for plasterboard: 150-200 mm at perimeter and 250-300 mm in the field. A standard 1.2×2.5 m sheet takes roughly 30-40 screws. 200-piece pack covers several sheets.
Drive with a screw gun. The head should sit flush or just below the surface - without breaking the paper face. Breaking the paper means the fixing loses strength.
