Plastering beacon W10, 2.5m - the essential reference for achieving truly flat walls when plastering. T-profile 10mm wide is fixed to the wall with mortar dabs every 50-70cm. Once levelled with a spirit level, the beacons guide an aluminium or steel straightedge. Hard gypsum does not bend under straightedge pressure even with a single-person crew. 2.5m length covers a standard 2.4-2.5m wall in one piece. After hardening, beacons stay embedded in the plaster or are removed and the groove filled.
