Ceramics, porcelain and glass don't take impact - they crack at the first hammer stroke. The Diager 8x100 mm ceramic bit has a special tip that cuts without lateral shock. Use strictly in rotation-only mode, no hammer, with steady pressure and water cooling on the surface.
8 mm diameter suits M5-M6 fasteners in wall tiles or floor tiles. Compatible with standard drills. Mark the drilling spot with masking tape on the ceramic to stop the bit wandering. Practical maximum depth: 70-80 mm.
