UDK D0.4, 600x200x100mm. Factory-calibrated dimensions - smooth face, tight tolerances. Laid with thin-bed AAC adhesive at 2-3mm joints. No thermal bridges, no thick mortar beds.
The low weight at D0.4 makes working at storey height comfortable. Easy cutting with a hand saw or jigsaw - AAC cuts faster and cleaner than brick. Non-standard configurations, niches, access hatches, any irregular shape gets cut without special tooling.
1 m3 = 83.33 blocks at this size. Calculate your wall area, add 10% for cutting waste.
After laying - prime and two skim coats or thin render. UDK's smooth face needs thinner layers than brick does.
