Silver paint is aluminium powder in a binder. Under heat it doesn't blacken, doesn't flake, holds high temperature. That's why it's used on everything that gets hot: radiators, district heating pipes, metal stoves, boiler casings.

0.5 litres - standard format for a medium-sized job. Painting radiators in a flat or a small boiler.

Before application - clean surface of rust and old paint, degrease. Apply with a brush in a thin coat. After drying - silver metallic sheen. Second coat if needed after the first is fully dry.

Water or solvent-based - check the label on the specific batch. Store away from fire.
