Alkyd base, solvent - strong smell, work outdoors. Metal primer before application is mandatory. Thinner is white spirit, not water. After applying - let fully dry before the next coat.
In Moldova's climate with summer heat and winter freeze-thaw cycles - alkyd performs well on exterior metal surfaces.
