Drill bit SDS 16x460

SDS drill bit 16×460 mm - a long drill bit for SDS-Plus rotary hammers. The 16 mm diameter handles M12 anchor bolts, large wall plugs and specialist fixings. At 460 mm, the length is for through-drilling thick walls, reinforced structures and monolithic concrete.

SDS-Plus shank is the standard for most mid-range rotary hammers. The carbide tip takes the impact and cuts through reinforced concrete, though it wears much faster when hitting rebar.

This size comes up rarely - but when you need it, a standard drill bit won't do. The long bit drills through-holes in load-bearing walls for pipes and cable runs.
