Step drill bit for metal 4-20 mm - conical step bit for drilling sheet metal, profiles and thin materials without changing bits.
One bit makes holes from 4 mm to 20 mm - each step increases the diameter by 2 mm. Handy for electrical work, fitting sockets and switches, drilling ventilation sheet. The cone self-centres without excessive pressure.
Needs a drill at medium-low speed for metal. At high RPM, the metal overheats and the bit loses its edge quickly.
