70 mm is the right size for fitting recessed sockets and switches in tiles, or running pipes through wall tiles. The diamond edge cuts without impact - no cracking the way a standard drill bit would.
Use with water cooling or at a low angle and slow speed. Without cooling the tile overheats and cracks. Not for reinforced concrete or hard stone.
