The Maan 165x315 mm tray has a ribbed base for draining excess and enough depth to hold a good amount of paint without frequent refills. The size works comfortably with standard rollers for rooms and hallways.
Pour paint in, run the roller across the ribbed surface 2-3 times, excess drains back. The roller comes out evenly loaded. Repeat each refill. After work - wash out with water for emulsion paints.
