The 4.2x25 self-drilling screw is for metal-to-metal joints in thin profiles and sheet - CD/UD profile connectors, metal cassettes, access covers, sheet accessories. The drill-point tip cuts through up to 2-3 mm of metal without a pilot hole.

Countersunk Phillips or Pozidriv head drives straight in with a drill. The short 25 mm length is calculated for double-layer profile joints plus head clearance.
